You've Built Something Solid.

Now Comes the Hard Part.

You’ve done the hard yards. Built a farm that works. Earned the respect of everyone around you.

But the skills that built it — the grit, the independence, the ability to tough it out alone — can actually work against you in the next phase. Family alignment doesn't reward stoicism. It rewards conversations.

What's Really Happening?

  • You don't have a plan: You've got ideas, instincts, a general sense of direction — but nothing written down that everyone's agreed to. And deep down, you know that's not enough.
  • Everyone's got their own version of the future - and no one's said it out loud in the same room: You're not sure if you're all pointing in the same direction anymore.
  • You went through a messy succession - and you're determined your kids won't: But you're not sure how to give them what you didn't have.
  • Your kids are asking about the future - and you don't have clear answers yet: The conversations stay surface-level because you haven't worked it out yourself.
  • You've watched families fall apart over this: You're determined that won't be you. But you're not sure how to stop it.
  • You know your kids need to step up: But how do you prepare them without overwhelming them or making it too easy for them?
  • You've got big plans and you're not ready to step back yet - but you know it's coming: Maybe 5 years. Maybe 10. And you want to make sure the transition actually works when the time comes.

Introducing the

High Performing Families

Roadmap Workshop

This is NOT a succession planning seminar. It is not a legal, accounting or financial planning event.

The High Performing Families Roadmap Workshop is a two-day family strategy session — designed to get your whole family in the same room, aligned on the same future, with a Roadmap in your hands when you leave.

What You'll Get

  • A 10-Year Family Roadmap - written, agreed-upon, and built by your whole family together.
  • Family Alignment - everyone pointing in the same direction with a shared language for the hard conversations.
  • The Critical Conversations - tools to keep talking about the future after you leave, not just during the workshop.
  • Your 90-Day Action Plan - you'll know exactly what to do next, not just have vague ideas.
  • The Playbook from High Performing Families - Ben will show you the key things families who thrive are actually doing.

Meet Ben Law - The Bloke Who Gets It

Ben grew up on a beef cattle property in Northwest NSW. He didn't study agriculture from a textbook — he lived it. He understands what it means to pour your life into a piece of land, and why the conversations about its future are so hard to start.

After a degree in Agricultural Economics and 20+ years as a Financial Adviser, Ben watched too many farming families approach succession as a legal or financial exercise. The real issue was always the family and having a plan or a strategy and someone to help guide you. That insight became the foundation of everything he does today.

After Ben retired as a financial adviser, he developed the High Performing Families™ framework over years of one-on-one coaching work with farming families. The Roadmap Workshop brings that same process into a small-group setting at a fraction of the cost, surrounded by other families in the exact same position as you.

He hosts the AgriCoach Wealth & Wisdom Podcast and has worked with dozens of successful farming families across Australia. Every workshop he has run has sold out and scored 9+/10 when attendees surveyed.

Great exposure for our children...

Grazier Age 49

We had been through successions with our own families and wanted to expose our children to the process of open discussion, business planning and family discussion at all levels. Our family meetings have been the most impactful, its great exposure for our children as we work through where we are all at. Ben is very open in his discussions, he is well researched and willing to support families who are the same. I would say if you are willing to expose yourself to the rigours of being open, setting goals & visions, and spending time discussing hard things with your family in a safe space then you should definitely engage with Ben.

Insightful guidance, unwavering support...

Grazier Age 56

We wanted support and guidance from an established professional to transition successfully whilst maintaining open and honest communication with our family. We would not have considered anyone other than Ben to help our family. He brings to the table industry knowledge, a thorough understanding of the complexities of family businesses, including intergenerational issues and family dynamics. We now have a strategic plan and an evolving roadmap that is helping us achieve our business and family goals that align with our core family values. Ben offers insightful guidance, unwavering support, and helps us to see opportunities clearly. Thanks for working with our family Ben - we are so very grateful for all that you do!

You gave me my husband back...

FARMER Age 55

I wanted to touch base to thank you sincerely for all the help you have given us this year. Whilst we weren’t in dire straits, I have a sneaking suspicion we could have ended up there had we continued the path we were on. Ben, you gave me my husband back, for which I am so, so thankful!! I wanted to let you know that you are making a huge difference to those who want to change for the better.

A plan to pull together as a united family...

Grazier Age 52

We were growing our business and asset holdings, with a focus on looking towards the future as all our daughters want to stay on the land. We were looking for guidance with business succession and growth. The value was in finding out what everyone "thinks" they want at this point in their lives and then making a plan to pull together as a united family. Incredibly valuable. We now all have a very driven view on the future. Be ready for honest, open communication, and questions to challenge your way of thinking!

This Workshop is Deliberately

Not for Everyone

THIS IS FOR YOU IF:

✅ You are aged between 45-60 and running a profitable, scaled agribusiness
✅ You are 5-10 years from when you think succession will occur
✅ Your children are involved in — or will be — the farm's future
✅ You are ready to invest time off-farm in your family's long-term success
✅ You want to get aligned and create a plan before problems force you to
✅ You are open-minded, action-oriented, and willing to have honest conversations
✅ You value expert guidance and a structured process over figuring it out alone

THIS IS NOT FOR YOU IF:

❌ Your farm or family is currently in crisis or active conflict (a mediator is needed first)
❌ You are in survival mode financially or personally — this is not the right starting point
❌ You want a done-for-you solution with no family involvement required
❌ You have a fixed mindset and are not genuinely open to new approaches
❌ You're not prepared to implement what you create
❌ You think the business is more important than your family

For years, farming families paid $20,000+ to work with Ben one-on-one
to build their Family Roadmap. The workshop brings the same process to a small group — at a fraction of the cost.

What You Are Really Investing In

The confidence to know exactly what's next. The certainty that your whole family is on the same page. The relief of finally having a plan — not just hoping it works out.

What would you pay to avoid even one succession dispute? One family breakdown?

Most families spend more on a working dog or a set of tractor tyres than it costs to secure their next 30 years.

Frequently Asked Questions?

Is this just another sales event?

No. This is a fully standalone, fully-delivered workshop. You'll walk out with a completed 10-year Family Roadmap, a 90-day action plan, and the tools to keep the conversations going.

On Day 2, there's an optional lunch for families who want to learn more about working with Ben long-term through the High Performing Families Accelerator program. Zero pressure. Most families attend just to hear what's possible — but you're under no obligation to do anything beyond the two days.

The workshop delivers everything we promise, whether you ever work with us again or not.

How is this different from a succession planning seminar?

Most succession events are legal-heavy: wills, trusts, tax structures. They assume the family is already aligned and just needs paperwork. We start where they finish.

This workshop focuses on the root causes succession planning ignores — family dynamics, communication breakdowns, misaligned expectations, and the conversations you've been avoiding. We build the family plan first. The legal and financial structures come later, once everyone's actually on the same page.

If you've been to a succession seminar and left thinking "that didn't actually solve anything" — this is why.

Do I need to bring my family?

Short answer: Yes.

If you come alone, you'll leave with ideas — but no alignment. The whole point is to get your family in the same room, working on the same plan, so everyone walks out committed to the same future.

We've seen it happen: one person attends, comes home energised, tries to implement — and hits a wall because no one else was part of the process.

Additional family members are $250 each (heavily discounted). That's exceptional value for what you'll get. If your family isn't aligned, your Roadmap won't be either.

What if my spouse/kids don't want to come?

We get this all the time.

Usually, it's the husband. He's thinking: "I'm too busy working the farm to go sit in another seminar with some bloke I've never met."
We get it. You've been to industry events. You've sat through presentations that felt like a waste of time. This feels like more of the same.

Here's what's turned a lot of hesitant husbands around: listen to one of Ben's podcasts first.

Not the polished, scripted ones — the real conversations with farming families who've been through this process. Families like yours. Talking about what actually happened, what changed, and why they wish they'd done it sooner.

When blokes hear other blokes — not a consultant, not a salesperson — talking honestly about how this helped their family, it clicks.

Try this:
• Pick one episode from a family that sounds like yours
• Listen to it together on a drive or over a coffee
• If it resonates, you're ready. If it doesn't, this probably isn't for you — and that's fine.

But here's the hard truth: if a key family member flat-out refuses to participate, that's not a small problem — that's your biggest problem. And waiting won't fix it.

This workshop gives you the structure and safety to finally address it. But everyone has to be willing to show up.

Still unsure? Email: admin@thefinancialbloke.com.au and we'll set up a 15-minute call with Ben. No sales pitch. Just an honest conversation about whether this fits your family.

We're too busy right now.

You're right — you are.

And that's exactly the problem.

The farm will always demand everything. There will never be a "perfect time" when the calendar clears and you suddenly have space to do this. That's why it keeps getting pushed to next quarter. And next year. And the year after that.

Two days now could save you ten years of drift — or worse, a crisis that forces the conversation when emotions are high and options are limited.

The families who regret this workshop? We've never met one. The families who regret waiting? We talk to them all the time.

What if it doesn't work?

Let's be honest: this workshop is the first step, not the finish line.
You'll leave with a written 10-year Family Roadmap, clear next steps, and the tools to keep going. But then you have to go home and actually do the work.

The families who succeed?
They take the Roadmap seriously. They schedule the follow-up conversations. They implement what they committed to. They keep showing up for each other.

The families who fail?
They attend the workshop, nod along, feel good for a week — then let the Roadmap sit in a drawer while the farm swallows them whole again.

We can't force you to follow through. We can't make your family communicate after you leave. We can't do the work for you.

But here's what we can do:
Give you the structure, the clarity, and the plan you need to actually make it happen — if you're willing to act on it.
We've never had a family leave and say "that was a waste of time."
The ones who regret it? The ones who didn't come at all — and called us three years later wishing they had.

Will we come out with a succession plan?

No — because you're 5-10 years out, and succession will come over time.

Right now, you don't need a succession plan. You need the foundation one is built on.

A succession plan is a legal and financial document: who gets what, when, and how. But if your family isn't aligned on the why, the what, and the how we work together — that plan will create resentment, not clarity.

What you WILL leave with is a Family Roadmap.
It's the foundation you need now — while there's still time to get it right. It answers:
• What does success look like for this family in 10 years?
• What are our shared values and non-negotiables?
• What does each generation actually want?
• How do we make decisions together?
• What's our 90-day action plan?

Over the next 5-10 years, you'll build the succession plan from this. The legal and financial pieces will come when the time is right. But they'll actually work because your family is already aligned.

This is where you set the foundations. Succession comes later — but only if you build the right base now.

Do I have to share my personal details with other families in the room?

No. You'll share what you're comfortable sharing. Some families are open books. Others keep things closer to the chest. Both are fine.

The workshop isn't group therapy — you're not expected to air your dirty laundry. But you will be working alongside other families facing similar challenges, and there's huge value in realising you're not alone.

Most families find the peer environment is one of the biggest benefits — they learn as much from the other families in the room as they do from the process itself.

Will you run another one if I can't make this date?

Not for 2026. Ben only runs these workshops when he has capacity and for the rest of 2026 are not expecting to run another.

If this date works for your family, lock it in. Waiting for the "perfect" workshop six months from now often means waiting another year — because by the time the next one rolls around, something else will be in the way.

What happens after the workshop?

You leave with:
• A written 10-year Family Roadmap
• A 90-day action plan with clear next steps
• Tools and frameworks to keep the conversations going

From there, you can implement independently — many families do. Or, if you want ongoing support, you can continue working with Ben through the High Performing Families Accelerator program (quarterly family meetings, annual strategy sessions, access to a network of other high-performing families).

There's no pressure either way. The workshop is fully standalone.

What if I can't make the date?

If you give us more than 30 days' notice, you'll receive a credit toward the next workshop.

No-shows forfeit their ticket. No exceptions.

We're already experiencing conflict. Is this right for us?

It depends.

If your family is in active crisis — court disputes, estrangement, or deep unresolved resentment — you'll need a mediator or family therapist first. This workshop is built for families who want to get ahead of conflict, not resolve it mid-battle.

But if you're just feeling tension, miscommunication, or a growing sense that "we're not on the same page" — you're exactly who this is for.

If you're unsure, email: admin@thefinancialbloke.com.au and we'll have an honest conversation about whether this is the right fit. We'll point you in the right direction either way.

Your Farm Took Decades to Build. Your

Family's Future

Is Worth Two Days.

You know what needs to happen. You've known for a while. The families who thrive across generations aren't the luckiest or the richest. They're the ones who got intentional early enough to matter. Ten years from now, you'll look back at this moment as either the turning point — or the chance you missed. If you're ready to take that step, I'd love to see your family at the workshop.
