Just because someone’s at the top doesn’t mean they’re enjoying the view.

They might be sitting on a valuable operation. Running a highly profitable business. Getting recognition in the community.

But behind the scenes?

They’re worn out. Isolated. Maybe even wondering, “Is this it?”

I came across this quote recently that hit the nail on the head:

“The upper ranks of corporate life are dominated by insecure overachievers: people who are driven by a deep sense of inadequacy and are not having any fun, even though they've supposedly won this very competitive race.” — Oliver Burkeman

It applies to more than just the corporate world.

I’ve met plenty of high-achieving farmers who’ve ‘won’ the game on paper — but are quietly stuck. Surrounded by people who don’t get it. Burdened by the weight of responsibility. Uninspired by the company they keep.

And here’s what I’ve learned:
Being successful is great. But being surrounded by other people who are just as driven, motivated, and future-focused? That’s where the real joy kicks in.

That’s why I built the High Performing Families Accelerator™ — to create a tribe of top-performing families who want more:
•More clarity about where they’re heading
•More connection with like-minded people
•More inspiration, support, and accountability
•And more enjoyment of the wealth and legacy they’re building

No whingers. No victims. No energy-sapping complainers.

Just people who want to grow, protect, and transition their family business — and enjoy the ride with others who get it.

If you’ve ever felt like you’ve outgrown the conversations around you…

Maybe it’s time to find a new room.

Until next time,

Cheers, Ben
